Mark books as read?

Hey all, so I'm having issues finding a mod that A: doesn't eventually break your game, or B: doesn't add a LOT of stuff to modify the UI.

I'm just trying to get an indicator to show if a book has been read or not. Not spicific volumes, but like, lets say I read 'Mixed Unit Tactics' or ' "Madmen" Of The Reach' I want ALL mixed unit tactics and madmen of the reach to display read not just the volumes I picked up.
I love collecting and reading the books in skyrim then adding them to my library. SkyUI seems to change how menus work and how you interact with the UI. Though fine, dont want to deal with it. Furthermore, The glow mods are not desired either. Just looking for something that if its in my inventory I can see something that lets me know I read/have it. When I look on a shelf it lets me know the same.

Just looking for a marked as read book mod with no periferals that will not mess up the game.

Thanks! That looks like a usefull one, and you can change the amount of glow involved.

Anyone know of any read book mods that dont make the books glow? Just a text tweak to the name or somesuch?

I did a search and there isn't one. Might need to wait until SKSE64 comes out for one to be available

Well, I need the OPPOSITE of that! I'm using the SkyUI 2.2 in SE, but currently don't have (yet) some nice things that we had in LE version. One of them, was that "eye icon" after a book title, when you have ALREADY READ IT!

Which was SUPERB handy, when you have... three dozen books and notes and you're getting a new note from a courier, you're missing the name of the note (on the left up corner) and then... you have to re-open ALL THE DAMN books and... find (eventually) the new unread message!!!!!

Do we have a solution for that, please?
