Any good custom voice followers?

im getting bored already exploring without followers and the followers currently available starting to feel like a robot with 2-3 lines and serana has always something to whine about

tried Vilja but ive never heard worse voice acting in my entire life, nothing feels genueine about what she says, like a robot that knows words but doesnt understand its meanings and the thick accent of german or something is enraging me even harder, like hearing some fat old lady trying to sound as if shes a squeeky 14 year old girl... very highly developed mod though.

the only genuine and lore friendly followers i was able to find that was custom voiced was Inigo and Recorder but i hate furries so i cant be around khajit, it just doesnt blend well and as for Record, shes so full of memes and awkward jokes

why cant the modders just remain lore friendly and stay genuine to their character?

Try Companions and Followers on nexus, there are 12 different followers to choose from and they wander around Skyrim. Very nice voice actors as well.

ill look into it in a bit after trying sofia, noticed shes got a very nice looking alternative face mod so will try and mix around a bit and see what works with SE

if only there were some "custom voice" box to mark to filter out all the horrible mods available, tried finding male followers but Erik the Slayer was the the only decent looking one that wasnt super gay (not against gays) but even a super gay person would feel that they were too gay or "anime" looking.

all though theres no port for him yet and apparently people are getting CTDS from the one from oldrim

Vilja is a great one with lots of quests included. she even talks to vanilla companions and the kids.

The girls in companions and followers are cute, imo, the men look like men. And they are all different races. The different voices each has fits that character well.

Sofia is just one long running serial innuendo. Cool if you're 15 I guess but I didn't find her entertaining. Nice for storage and a free conjurable tank if you need that. Otherwise not a great companion.

I'm enjoying Inigo and his quest. He's the best one I've found so far and his dialogue with Lydia was worth the download in itself. Good luck finding what you need.

So youve got any better recommendations? i agree fully with Inigo, i did mention Inigo but i just dont get along well with people of furr.

Inigos voice acting is beyond impressive, seems lore friendly and as genuine as a khajit could be khajit.

if you think the voice acting is fake, then you have obviously never heard anyone from northern europe speak. the voice and accent is authentic.

ive never heard of such an accent no, it feels like a mix of german and russian accent but whats bothering me the most is how nothing feels genuine about her as if she doesnt know the meaning of the words and shes always saying thanks and that she appreciates you but the appreciation just isnt there in her voice but its not like i want to be appreciated every few minutes for little to no reason

she does tend to get repetitive on some things, yes. Always going on about dancing on the tables, love handles, freckles, and milk drinkers

Try Interesting NPCs. There are a lot of well acted potential followers. A dozen or so. Most have nicely made quests associated with them as well. An overall, well made mod.

i remember that one from oldrim and never got it to work because it kept failing or taking too loo long to load into nexus

These are all listed in NEXUS' original Skyrim (I compiled this back in August) - I do not know which ones have been ported over to SSE, so that is something you will have to look into for yourself - hope it is of some help (It includes the ones you did not care for - just skip over them; also, some are not lore friendly).
