Any good custom voice followers?

im getting bored already exploring without followers and the followers currently available starting to feel like a robot with 2-3 lines and serana has always something to whine about

tried Vilja but ive never heard worse voice acting in my entire life, nothing feels genueine about what she says, like a robot that knows words but doesnt understand its meanings and the thick accent of german or something is enraging me even harder, like hearing some fat old lady trying to sound as if shes a squeeky 14 year old girl... very highly developed mod though.

the only genuine and lore friendly followers i was able to find that was custom voiced was Inigo and Recorder but i hate furries so i cant be around khajit, it just doesnt blend well and as for Record, shes so full of memes and awkward jokes

why cant the modders just remain lore friendly and stay genuine to their character?

This one is already ported for SSE, and has 12 followers, some female, some male all lore friendly and good voice acting.

will grab that one, followers looks lore friendly and not some anime stuf.. sucks that the only human male looks like a milk drinker without a single aging line while the other male followers are looking vicious, the argonian looks awesome

been looking through these, almost all of them was either too "anime" or lorebreaking besides professor benjamin and inigo, Eloise wouldve been an awesome adoptive child mod but looks way too young for a follower and has converse and modern dress.. very childlike features.

Mour looks awesome, amazing idea of her character but looks too young, anime and smooth and childlike for me personally.. shame he had another amazing follower called Acalypha but same problem there

Solar, im not sure what she is if the mod author describes her as a being of another world or something but the same mod authoer made a mod of a beautiful nord female appearing to be Lokis daughter Hel, another must have for nords :) also already grabbed Nerida from the same author since before

tanker neisa definitely had good tankers but her face looks so anime, several other mods were hidden by the authors

Inigo is by far the greatest follower mod. Just give it a chance, he is not inFurryAteing as it seems. Certainly not a typical Khajit follower. Much better than Sofia. Sofia is a bad follower. The only great and undoubtful thing about Sofia is her voice.

yea im getting tempted to download Inigo, the most professional mod so far and the voice actor deserves a reward for his work

and as far as sofia, i like that she seems so lore friendly and doesnt whine so much as most other followers.. havent got to try her yet because i was stuck with all the face overhauls that kept failing for SE since theyre oldrim mods.

just dont like how young she looks

Sofia is funny but she has set dialog that could interupt other voice actors during the main questline.

sofias voice just didnt do it for me, felt the same issue as vilja that the way they express appreciation or certain words like theres no meaning behind them but just words or how to put it

the voice actors shouldnt be satisfied until they feel that their dialogues flows naturally, im hoping the voice of the Hel follower is good though and she looks beautiful.. Yet, doesnt seem to work on SE

wow.. uninstalled sofia and decided to try out aspen trees and simply bigger trees and suddenly been having major sound issues that makes my game get stuck if i quit the game.

im not sure if theres even a possibility that trees has anything to do with it when im booting up in a dwemer ruin away from trees.

Aplogies for necro'ing the thread, but I thought I would add that Arissa can be ported over yourself. Did it last night and she works fine. I tried her without porting back when SE was released and she was fine, but I read that incorrectly ported mods degraded the game code somehow. You can probably do it with any follower, but certain followers are dependent on SKSE and SKSE64 hasn't been released for SE yet, so be careful.
