Increase carrying capacity without affecting achievements?
What ways can you increase carrying capacity, without mods/external tools preferably that also don't affect achievements?

Backtracking in and out of dungeons to haul loot for hours on end OR leave it behind, not this time.

easiest way is to go into the Creation Kit and create a backpack or something to increase your capacity.

There has been a mod out there that allows you to use other mods and still get achievements.....it's been around since day one.

1/ be more selective in your looting. Most stuff is worthless, heavy, or both. You can become richer quicker if you focus on low weight/high value stuff and keep moving and get through more dungeons. Think jewellery/gems/helmets/gauntlets/elven armour/enchanted stuff/ingredients for valuable potions/skill books

2/ increase your stamina

3/ use potions and/or enchantments to boost your carry weight - put the enchantment on a pair of cloth boots which only weigh a unit or so and can thus be put on when needed

4/ seek out the Steed Stone

5/ bring a follower, they are sworn to carry your burdens, yes? Pick a mage, they aren't weighed down by a heavy set of un-removable (in vanilla) armour.

Or they could, I don't know, do what I said and get the mod that unlocks the ability to get achievements in a modded game. Then they can download the Bandoliers mod.

can't you use the console or something, F4 doesn't disable achievements for example.

really thought I was going to be bombarded with correct answers, ;(

player.forceav carrywieght x
where x is the amount you want

(gnewna's answer is more correct than mine, cause console use may screw up your game)

Are you coherent? Are you high? My posts were correct kid. I have extensive experience with modding. You asked for a way to increase carry weight that would not disable achievements and I gave you a CORRECT answer.

If you want to cheat with the console then go right ahead.

I did, and I gave you the best solution. I have a sneaking suspicion that you are not too good at comprehending English.

I agree, beside, often in early game, there is limit shop can buy from you, not just gold limited (500 to 1000 gold they had, dpened who unless you want to buy from them, that make them had a more gold to just sell them more to make up) but what item unless you put many perk in speechcraft that alllow you sell everything to them and make gold limit go up. I often look at a weight/high value, and shop still don't had any gold to buy from me, don't loot everything, just loot that low weight/high value and special item, with 300-320 weight limited many year playing skyrim, I'm more worry of heath and Mana than a green bar thing/weight when playing as pure mage, loot arrow is always good thing, often it's zero weight and you can sell steel arrow at least for one gold each, iron arrow is useless untill very high speechcraft.

Get "SOFIA" the stand-alone follower!!!! She may is very annoying (talking too much)... but she has UNLIMITED capacity of carrying! So... very important, for my travels.
