Both warmaiden Npcs dead what happens next

so i walked into whiterun to find a vampire has almost made it all the way to the keeps killed it but when back tracking i found that both the npcs that own the warmaiden (Whiterun Blacksmith shop next to the main gate and breezehome) so im wondering will they respawn over time or remain dead

Remain dead, but you can open the console, click them and type resurrect.

You move on to a different blacksmith, and hopefully avoid such accidents in the future.

Or get a mod that makes npc's run inside during an attack, if it's on SE.

If you do this, they are broken. Their scripts in the game have ceased to function. It is a waste of time.

The only way to fix it is to reload an old save.

I will say it for the hundredth time: there are 113 merchants in Skyrim, plus many replacements. There is no shortage. The whole idea of a merchant dying during the game was not an oversight by the developers, it is a part of the game. Deal with it and move on.

It is, but I was operating under the assumtion that this person didn't use mods, in which case I don't feel like explaining the process.

I had the same problem. I was growing fond of Elrindir at the Drunken Huntsman but a vampire killed him before I managed to kill it. I shed a single tear for Elrindir, then I looted his body.
