Dragons aren't true dragons

Bethesda you dun goofed. Your dragons in Skyrim are a weird Wyvern and Dragon hyrbid. You have parts of both. You made your own species .... These aren't dragons, wyverns, drakes or wyrms.

Yeah, they goofed. Wyrns, Drakes, and Dragons have four legs, one set of wings, and their tail may - or may not, ever be barbed.

Wyverns are like Dragons, but have two legs with their frontal set appearing as multiple claws on their wings, and they almost always have a barbed tail, just like in Skyrim...

You're all wrong. Dragons are long and serpentine, and they don't have wings. They're wise god-like beings that have no use for such appendages.

Different cultures have different ideas of what a dragon is. Wyverns, drakes, and wyrms (and lindworms) don't exist in all mythologies with dragons.

They're all in the dragon family. They can all be called dragons, just as tigers and panthers are still cats.

You really need to read up or Norse lore
and some of you need to read up on dragons .
