Mod similar to SkyUI?
I know we don't have SKSE yet which would make SkyUI not viable I believe, but are there any other mods similar to it for SE? Playing with the vanilla inventory UI is atrocious.

Skyui 2.2 works without SKSE. Running on my game perfectly now.

Were there any special steps required?

Do the SSE mods show up correctly?

I think he means the UI will work, but there won't be a mod menu without SKSE

I found a YouTube video that showed the steps. Pretty simple. I am on my phone so it's hard to look and link the video.

If you don't find it I will post a link when I get to an actual computer.

But I just searched Skyui 2.2 in YouTube so you will probably find it pretty fast.

So... we have SkyUI 2.2 running fine... without the MCM screen (for ingame mods' setup).
SO????

MOST of the current mods for SSE, they coming with "Shouts" or "Books" and you're doing THE VERY SAME THING as you was doing in MCM!

So... okay, you don't have the LAZY way to just adjusting things in a (MCM) screen. But you're doing almost the same thing, with a pop-up panel, when you're using the "Book" or the "Shout"!

SO WHAT?
What's the problem???

Never even heard of the Mod Configuration Menu before. I had to look up MCM Skyrim to find out what it is. LOL

Never used it.......don't even know how you use it.

I didn't know I was missing anything..........until now.

Not sure who this is directed at, but I don't think anyone has a problem with it in this post. I was certainly glad to just find out SkyUI 2.2 works for us. Sure the MCM makes things convenient, but its not a big deal to use books/spells for configurations.

I don't have problem with this specific post, I have problem with those people they DON'T ENJOYING THEIR LIVES and keep complaining for everything...

...The SKSE is way too late. To me, what my guts telling me, it won't ever released!!! For many reasons, I've wrote them to other post. So, to me, SKSE won't be released in 64bit... therefore it's UNNECESSARY all these similar posts...

...USE the current SkyUI, is perfect, works like charm. And install your favorite mods and ENJOY (for a change) this superb game! MOST of the major and recommended mods, are already ported to SSE WITHOUT the SKSE's need!

(My ONLY missing from "Oldrim", is the "Deadly Dragons" & "Simply Knock" mods! That's it, JUST THESE TWO only).

the problem is ...I ain't gonna bother myself until there is SKSE...until then... the old skyrim is preferable to the SE version...period

QD inventory will give you a Mouse and Keyboard friendly UI, but won't add all the nifty features of SkyUI.
