Save/Load operation failed (Fixed!)
Okay, so, I've been playing skyrim special edition, and just recently ive had a message pop up that's saying "Save/Load operation failed" and i've looked around, and all i've seen is people with mod problems. im just running the vanilla game and i have no clue what to do, and its getting kinda frustrating not being able to play this game because i really like it.
again, i am running vanilla skyrim, no mods, no nothing. Help pls :(

All save files say the same when you try to load them? How many save files do you have?

Your drivers may not have space left to save or you may have anti virus software blocking things.

Well here's what happens. I'll play the game for maybe 5 minutes, the longest i've gone is half an hour, and then ill pause, and press save, and the message will pop up. As to the comment about the driver, i have a 500 gb drive, a 175 gb drive, and a 3 tb drive, so i mean storage SHOULDNT be a problem, but my 175 is almost full, so maybe that could be the problem, but i'm not sure

This tells us nothing.

I could maybe fix your problem if you used mods. I have never had these problems and im using over 200 mods currently in SSE and im stable.

My skyrim is vanilla, and idk why its doing this, especially since the only other pages i could find are people with mods

Try verifying files or reinstall whole game. Perhaps try starting new game and playing that for while.

If the drive that is nearly full is your system drive where windows is installed and your game is saved by default then that may be your problem.
try running disk cleanup on that drive.

it worked! I did a combination of doing a disk cleanup and reinstalling, thank you all for your help!

You could try these DOS commands to make sure its not read only;

Bring up the Command Window. Type the following...
attrib user\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves -R

The path may vary a bit depending what directory your Command prompt is in.
The "minus r" tells DOS to remove the read only attribute. Then try saving the game.
