lost to the ages level

so i want to get the aetherial crown (to have both the mage stone and atronach stone) but i'm not sure if i'm high enough level,i already have 2 of the shards (the ones in deep folk crossing and mzulft) but i remember raldbthar being a bit difficult so maybe i should wait until i'm a higher level?

well the quest starts with reading of aetherium wars after that you get a nav point (a dwemer ruin) however so far as I know there's no level to get the first part I read the book at level 2 or so.

i know that,you can just go straight to the ruin and get the quest after talking to the ghost

i'm asking challenge wise what level should i be to not get wrecked

depends for instance you have also take mods into account ... combat mods, mods that bump the difficulty (high level enemies, sand of time, etc)

i have no mods and i'm playing a pure high elf mage

Nah, go for it. It probably seemed hard before cause you were new.
