Seriously...? And they calling this mod "The Ultimate Weather mod"???
So... this time, I thought to give a try to "Vivid Weathers" and I passed my favorite "CoT" (with 4-5 extra mods to boosting it up)...

...So, I installed "Vivid W." and my usual lighting mods... my usual ENB preset (for Vivid W. this time)... and I started playing and checking the light/weather/effect experience.

Seriously?... THAT ("V.W.") is the... "ultimate weather mod"...??? HAHAHAHA... Not even close to call it "fair good"!

I used the VERY SAME setting... the very same mods... I just replaced "CoT" with "VW"... It was simply terrible the comparison between "V.W." & "CoT".
And "V.W." its "supposed" changing completely the weather system and stuff. Its "supposed" to be the ultimate weather mod for FOGS... RAIN... STORM... SNOW... etc.

...NOT even close!!!!

..............

Also... about LIGHT mods. I've checked and used 3-4 additional mods to "ELFX" (which is my favorite)! Again... using ELFX, is like you're driving a super amazing Porsche. ANYTHING else, is like you're driving an... Opel!

Exactly, my favourite is Purity for Oldrim/Rustic Weather for SSE, but Vivid Weather is lovely if you want something a bit more, well, fantasy-ish, I guess. It's got decent ENB support, too. CoT is okay, I used it for a couple of years, but it's a bit dreary for my tastes (without the interestingness of Rustic Weathers which also tends towards the bleak end of things.) I even have different preferences for different playthroughs - my Requiem character lives in a far bleaker world than my happy-go-lucky Ordinator girl who's romancing Vilja and palling around with Inigo, for example, and I use different weather mods and ENB presets for both.

It's a f***king GAME, not reality so get over it! Buy VR games if you can realism. These people spend long hours trying to mod the game for certain effects, which CANNOT please everyone, so you and your witch hunt bashing of mod authors shows your immaturity and lack of respect for those who put forth the effort. Selfish little mammas skirt huggers like you shouldnt even be allowed to converse in public.
Seriously, even though a mod(s) doesnt have the effects YOU want, doesn't mean you should bash other peoples work. Personal preference as was mentioned earlier, doesn't justify bashing someones work...:bonehead:
PS: dont take this personally lupus, it just rubs me wrong when people trash the hard work these authors do with total disreguard for their efforts. Maybe some ofthe authors adjectives decribing it dont ring absolute but a salesman sells his product and users determine its relativity by how many actually USE it. PEACE

Generally, I was/am fan of "CoT" (with 4-5 additional mods on top of it) - and the weather/light system was/is amazing.

I tried the other "smaller" weather mods... I used a couple times "Vivid W." (in "Oldrim")... so I thought "okay, I'll give a shot".

Super poor result !!!!!!!!
The outdoor was quite good indeed, although... (even if "VW" is famous for it!)... storms & raining were very poor (comparing to "CoT"+True Storms+True Lighting+ ...others).

The INDOOR... the indoor lights (combined with ELE & Relighting Skyrim)... were simply MORE POOR than... Vanilla!!!!! Extremely BRIGHT! More bright than ...the meeting room in our office!!!!
In Helgen's cave... I didn't need not even a 1sec to use the torch, when with ELFX... without torch... you was doomed!

So... fine for the "VW", keep using it... but to me, to my flavor, is a HUGE "no" the "VW"...!

Of course... you may (and can) make arrangements. But that's not the point. WITHOUT ANY changes... CoT+ELFX... simply are superb!

Ah!... I forgot to report also:

CFL & RUDY ENBs... are rubbish, comparing to "Re-Engaged Re-Shade" ENB preset!!!!!!!
I tried both... they were SOOO POOR (interior, mostly) ...I turned back to "Re-Engaged"... and I was perfect (again).

I mean... Vivid Weather is a Weather mod? It doesn't really do much with interiors (beyond having a setting for 'make them darker or brighter'), so I don't really know what you expect, CoT's interiors module is pretty basic, as well. They both do well if you're using an ENB that darkens interiors and nights, though.

Shut up Lupus. People produce these mods in their own free time, for no money and share it with us... for free. If you don't like it, don't ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan, just comment on those mods you do like.

p.s fix your CAPS lock.
