Where's the Legendary edition?
So you can't buy it on steam anymore? What If you buy it as a physical copy?

why would you want to buy the old skyrim?

Yeah! Where is the Legendary edition? I want to buy it because my PC is not enough to play Special on high graphic settings

You won't find the Legendary Edition on steam, but just google it and you will have found what you are looking for.

Thank you. It's strange that we can't find it through Steam search.

Honestly if I were you I would not buy that version... it's the normal old skyrim and you will have to purchase all the dlc... the money you spend on all of that, you can purchase the game 4-5 times somewhere else haha

Sad, but true. It would be nice if the publisher made Legendary edition free for obtainers of Special edition too (as we know, obtainers of Legendary edition got Special for free, but if you buy Special at first you need to pay money if you want to play original - it seems to be not fair)

Finally found Legendary edition (Steam version) with 67% discount here: https://playo.ru/goods/skyrim/ (not advertising)

The original Legendary Edition hasn't been available through Steam's storefront for like a year.

The bundle which replaced it, which was relatively bad value for money, was removed just recently.

If you want Oldrim, you're indeed better off buying a Legendary Edition key via a third-party. The safest way to do this is to find a physically boxed copy and purchase that via retail (check your local game stores, or Walmart), though plenty of online key-sellers should still have keys available too.

Thank you. SE is not the best for modding just yet

I was searching to link to another thread yesterday or the day before, and found boxed Legendary editions on Amazon for about US$25 FYI. Way cheaper than Steam, and I wasn't even digging around for deals.

That's exactly what the OP is not looking for.

Currently you're better off buying the original version and just adding graphical mods. Will be better looking than Special Edition and cost half the price.

Don't really see a reason to buy the new version.

Unless you plan to ever play the new version sometime in the future. Because if you do you end up buying it twice. Buying the old version JUST because the SKSE isn't quite out yet is, in my opinion, rather stupid. You just end up buying the game twice. And then we end up with people whining that Bethesda is not giving them free stuff.
