Not getting proper distance
I can't figure out why I'm getting so little distance, this is on casual difficulty. Driver about 150 max, 8 Iron 70 yards. My swing speed is a little under 80 MPH but would still think I should get more distance than what I am. My floor height looks OK as a controller lying on the floor looks level with the ball.

Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot my swing? What would be causing this? I'm at a loss and have been at this for 3 days. I would really like to get to playing this game so any help would be appreciated.

Win 10, i7-4790K CPU @ 4.4 GHz, GTX 1070 GPU

Have you used the swing analyzer (hold down on the pad after your shot) to see how your club is contacting the ball? It should tell you basically everything you need to know.

What sort of ball flight path are you getting?

Well that's the problem, I'm not getting any data for swing path or center. Just a big fat F giving distance and CHS, did get a grade of D once. So I don't know if I'm topping, swinging under or to the side. Is there a way to get contact info from the swing arc's?

I'm out of shape and haven't played the real thing for a couple of years, so I'm taking it easy. Was a 13 handicapper.

When you're holding down on the touchpad you will see the swing path and the 3D render of the club head at impact. Take a close look at that to see the angle you're hitting the ball at. This could be bringing down your distances a bit. I'd also suggest playing around with club lengths and flexibility too. When I play on casual I usually use senior flex and swing between 80-90MPH and don't have a problem hitting 200+ yard drives. Try that stuff out on the tutorial so you can hit the ball over and over and hopefully that improves your distances.

Starting to get it sorted out. Think some of the problem is floor height along with poor contact. Finally one drive of 216 yards, wahoo getting up there with the big boys, LOL.
