The golf club water shot issues

When playing on the vive I am having issues when I hit a ball into a water hazard. The ball just gets lost. When I teleport to the ball it puts me in the water or just near it and it shows a blue circle on the grass/water but I don't see any ball and can't figure out what to do to hit it again. I can only start a new game, select the same course and continue a game which then makes it playable again from the previous shot. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

As instructed during the tutorial, you can retrieve a new ball at any time by reaching into the ball pocket of your golf bag. This is how you declare your previous shot unplayable. The blue zone displayed on the ground (circle or strip) is the legal drop zone. Your score will be adjusted accordingly. Dropping the ball outside of the legal drop zone and hitting it will disqualify your score card from the leaderboards.

Yes. Thank you. When I first played the tutorial, I ran into a bug that didn't let me finish. Later my friend ran through the tutorial and got through. I never went through the whole thing.

I had a similar issue (see my other thread, "A few questions") but also had one yesterday where the bag was under the water, so I couldn't retrieve another ball.
