Hard crash by allignment

I acquired the Steam license yesterday and checked before the demo version of the program which worked fine on my computer. Now with Steam licence the software crashes just after clicking the alignment button when I am trying to align only 20-30 images. Sometimes it reopens saying that the connection with Steam is not possible. Thank you in advance.
