Buenas a todos, hoy toca hablar de Mr Shifty, un juego que te pone en los zapatos (o debería decir, en las sombras) de un tipo que puede teletransportarse más rápido que la luz de una lámpara de escritorio barata. En esencia, este juego mezcla lo mejor de la infiltración al estilo 'metal gear' pero sin caja de cartón, con peleas que te harían pensar que estás controlando a un primo de Neo en el mundo de Matrix, pero con una chaqueta más informal y mucha arrogancia.

¿Qué tiene de buenazo Mr Shifty? Pues, como diría mi abuela, \el chico este se mueve que da gusto\. La mecánica de desplazamiento instantáneo no solo es clave, sino que está tan bien ejecutada que podrías pensar que el juego entero es una excusa para hacerte sentir todo un X-Men rechazado. Además, los niveles están diseñados para hacerte pensar rápido y romper cosas con estilo, lo cual siempre se agradece.

Ahora, no todo es teletransportarse y lanzar puñetazos. A veces sientes que los enemigos tienen la inteligencia de un tostador. Mejorar la IA no estaría mal, porque a veces la previsibilidad mata más que un golpe de Shifty. ¡Y no nos hagamos los sordos, esa banda sonora podría tener más punch!

Act 1 is fun all the way through. But after that the game just keeps alternating between "huh that was neat" and insane levels of annoyance? I feel it mostly comes down to how the game just keeps throwing dozen and dozen and dozen of enemies at you. It gets even worse when it happens in waves and you have to re-do the whole thing because some rando threw one grenade you couldn't react to in time. I feel this was done to give the combat more of a "umph" because otherwise going 1 to 1 with an enemy isn't very satisfying. I think you're better off trying to track down that one flash game that was just hotline miami but with superhot's mechanic

Fun

It's a little too easy and a little too short. I was hoping for more meat on the bones. Especially when Hotline Miami is $5 cheaper. What's there is good though, I just wanted more

Pretty good game and I have enjoyed my time with it. Some levels are quite difficult, but satisfying when you finish them.
Unfortunately it crashes too often for how simple it is and because saves are based on completing a level you lose your progress.

I'm awesome at this game

A short topdown action stealth game with a really fun unique spin. Being able to blink forward in the direction you're facing adds a lot in terms of the way you can approach problems. The game gets a little gauntlet heavy towards the end with rooms full of enemies that must be defeated before you can progress. While the game doesn't over stay its welcome, it is a bit note and the aforementioned gauntlets can be a bit tedious.

It's such a shame. Every 10 seconds or so, there's a terrible frame skip/ stutter. I tried all imaginable fixes. Developers, please fix this. Otherwise, it's a great game, but the stuttering is way too irritating.....

Fun hotline miami type game. The main gimmick is really cool and the enemy variety is great, but I think its brought down a little bit by some of the rooms, especially the 'survival' rooms where its waves of enemies. They tend to be the hardest ones and are pretty tedious. But apart from them the levels are usually pretty good. Its also annoying when the game restricts you from using the shift.

This is a small map, trial and error kind of game. It's NOT like Hotline Miami where you go in stealth and then random interesting things happen and you've to quickly adapt to the situation. It misses this freedom.

Quite the opposite, the situations are mostly solved in same ways because the level design is too simple and it's somewhat predetermined how to solve every individual situation. Then you trial and error until you get it right.

Also very irritating to me: YOU CAN'T PICK UP THE GUNS OF THE ENEMIES.
