Hi there!

As Putty Pals has been designed to be an old-school couch co-op game there is no online play. It is local co-op only 😊
We also don't have any future plans to introduce online play. I hope you get the chance to enjoy the game side by side with some friends! 🤗

It is not really good enough that you cannot play this game on online co op. You should seriously look into making it online coop with friends.

Hi, I searched for online co-op games and this game came up, it is a great game but my sister and I would also like to play it in online co-op mode it is such a waste of a good game not having this option.
Please make it online co-op compatible

Not sure if too late but now on Steam you can use Remote Play Together. Basically start the game, right click a friend and invite him to remote play. Then he can use his controller to play with you. As long as you have decent internet and stable upload speed you should be able to host easily and pretty much seemlessly. I tried it this way and it works perfectly.
