Are the servers alive?

I absolutely love this game. It was the first VR title I owned on PSVR and then I got it on steam to play with oculus link as soon as that became an option. I haven't played in a while but I have a couple of friends who are interested. I wasnt to tell them to go ahead and buy it, but the servers were kind of dying out last time I tried it. Is it worth them buying into at this point? (And I'm not talking about the jerkholes who hack the game for fun and ask you to read your book backwards, but people who are actually fun.)
