Big Gay Al's Cats bug?

I'm only missing Kirby (the one in the tree outside of Bebe's house) But it doesn't appear. I saw it when the game first started but now it's gone. I've double checked the cats from guides and whatnot and I'm 100% sure it's the one I'm missing. Anyone know a fix? I can't find anything about it being bugged anywhere else.
