Experiencing a glitch

Hi y'all. I'm at the chapter farts of future past. When I try to access New Kid's toy chest to get the sea man provided outfit, some crafting items and the vainglorious scepter the character is stuck standing next to the chest.

After receiving everything I saved and reloaded and didn't have the items and the glitch would happen again if I tried opening the chest. Has anyone else experienced this and have any suggestions? Thanks for any help or insight; it's much appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you've been encountering this issue.

If you haven't already, the first thing I'd advise is verifying the game files. This will check for any missing or corrupt file and replace them, you can find steps for this here

Oh thanks I'll try that. There was a work around though. I just equipped the artifact and saved. It worked; however it became a persistent problem and I wound up with multiple versions of the artifact and so many components.
