Cut scene won't play plus soft lock

I am currently at after the gay fish mission where we help get the gay fish's mom into heaven, and I am supposed to go the freedom pals base since just the night before freedom pals and ♥♥♥♥ and friends united. When I go into the base however, a cut scene is not playing. And on top of that when i try to go outside tolkien's house, it makes me stand in front of the gate as if the cut scene with classi saying she will be on our side is happening even though it already played, but classi's picture doesn't pop up and my character just stands there not being able to move. I saved when I was in the house so I have no way of getting out without it happening. I do have a save file from the beginning of the day before doing the gay fish quest, but even when I went back to that one and came to the freedom pals base the same thing happened and i have no idea what to do.

Hello, thank you for getting back to me,

I loaded the save file and redid the gay fish quest thing because I couldn't get outside tolkiens house without the cut scene glitch playing to do that. While I was there I unlocked the summon time fart as I realized I didn't have it, and also completed the raisin girls character sheet form while I was at it. I then did as you said and fast past to Stark's pond and then to Tolkien's house.

But once I got there, I couldn't get inside his house to see if it worked because it did that thing where it soft locked me into the thing again where it looked like classi's cut scene on the top right corner was about to play again, and now I can't get inside tolkien's house and I am unsure of what to do.

Hello, I just tried this and it did not effect it, it is still preventing me from going into tolkiens house. The game sometimes wont let me play and once I got it to play it still would freeze me in front of his house.

We'd like to forward a few details of this issue with your soft lock on to the team. Can you tell us if you performed any particular actions before heading to where the cutscene should trigger?

For example, which mission did you do before? Did you use any abilities, or change something in your character like powers, artefacts, costumes etc?

Hello, so about the details:

I had come out of my characters room in the morning and what appeared to be blood was everywhere all over the walls. When I walked outside, mysterion said i needed to head to freedom pals base. But i was also called to do the gay fish quest with seaman, so I did that first. Then I unlocked the fart power that lets you make a duplicate of yourself by doing Liane's quest where she gives you the brownies so I could make the taco. Then that is when I went to tolkiens house. On one save file I was able to get in his house but nothing would trigger and then when I would try to leave I get soft locked, and on the other I can't even get inside.

I watched a video on what cut scene was supposed to play, which was mitch conner revealing that he had my parents, etc. I noticed that on the save file where im in his house and when I go into the base and the cutscene doesnt play, timmy says something about rescuing my parents. But thats odd because the cut scene never even played.

Also, I've noticed that I tend to have trouble with opening the game because a lot of times it won't sync my cloud. And I actually just opened my computer after it died just now and I got a notification saying there was an error with ubisoft and that something shut down. This has happened a couple times, and I'm wondering if that's the reason? Or maybe my game itself is bugged which is why I get soft locked.

Thank you for sharing your detailed explanation as to what is happening.

You mentioned that you have also experienced crashes, it is possible that during the crash any save may have corrupted which could explain what you are seeing.

So we can see exactly what you see in game would it be at all possible to share a link to a video using a third party video sharing website of your choice?

Yes, I could show you a video of what is happening. Would it be alright if you could chose the video sharing website, as I'm not too sure of any options in mind besides something like discord, unless that does not count.

Just to ensure this Fast Travel isn't perhaps breaking the sequence at all, could you please try Fast Travelling to another location and walking to Token's house from there to see if the cutscene still fails to trigger at the gate?

Yes, I have already done that. Someone recommended me I tried fast passing from starks pond to tolkiens house to see if it fixed it and it didn't, so I tried fast passing somewhere else then walking and it still didn't work :(

It's likely that this issue is the result of a corrupt save. For this, we can only suggest completing our basic troubleshooting guide {LINK REMOVED} here and to use a new save. This will help to prevent from this issue appearing again, however this would mean starting from the beginning.
