• Game may freeze for some users when using Kyle’s Death From Above Ability. [New: Oct 19]

Fixed Issues

• Mrs. Cartman’s animation/dialog may be duplicated during a certain mission. [TU2]
  
• Manually saving or loading after Wendy’s cutscene, but before the following minigame, causes the New Kid to play the game with their normal clothes. [TU2]
  
• Steam users may receive a black screen upon launch. [TU2]
  
• If using a keyboard that does not accept more than two key presses at a time, playing the toilet minigames will cause the new kid to be stuck on the toilet.
  • If using a keyboard that does not accept more than two key presses at a time, the toilet minigame will now give you the option to skip. [TU2]
  
  
• Users with framerate issues may experience characters freezing. [TU2]
  
• When using the Gadgeteer's Ultimate to defeat the Mutant Kyle boss fight, the game does not end the combat and the player can only access the pause menu. [TU2]
  
• Players have reported the Ubisoft Club Assassin's Pack not being available in game after redemption.

[Update - 10/25] Black Screen on Launch - Workaround

Hi everyone -- If you're playing on PC and getting a black screen on launch, press alt+enter to change the game from fullscreen to windowed mode. This should return visuals to your game. Following that, you should be able to return to fullscreen mode through the in-game menus.

The team is continuing to investigate this issue.

Edit: This workaround isn't a universal fix, and some users are reporting experiencing game crashes when they attempt it. Steam user Jackal Lantern has found another workaround by "running [the game] as admin AND running in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode."

You'll find below the Known Issues for South Park: The Fractured But Whole. This list includes issues that are not specific to the Steam PC version of the game, but the platforms are marked per issue. This list will be updated, but may be slightly behind the Ubisoft forums[forums.ubi.com] version of the Known Issues List.

• [PS4][XB1] The user remains stuck during the second meeting with The ♥♥♥♥ if Jimmy’s Fastpass Fast Travel is completed last
  
• [XB1] Skipping the credits after getting a specific end-game achievement may cause the game to crash.
  
• [PS4][XB1] Mission indicator will not appear on-screen if the user performs missions in a specific order.
  
• [XB1] Combat may remain stuck after using Call Girl's Y ability against Professor Chaos.
  
• [XB1] Combat freezes when Call Girl uses “Phone Destroyer” on an ally after she is confused by Timothy.
