The first thing we'd advise is hitting Alt + Esc. This has helped some users to get around these stuck issue.

If I hit Alt+Esc while the game is in fullscreen mode, there's no way back to the game because it has no taskbar button, and I can't switch to it in Task Manager (where it is listed as a background process) or through Alt-Tab.
EDIT: Replayed the mission and, based on Ubica_Padonkoff's comment above, made sure to move Craig and Tweek close together before the final combo. Battle ended normally. After that last combo, Craig makes a comment, and I seem to recall that the first time I did the battle - and hit the glitch - Craig was offscreen when Tweek finished the combo. Being offscreen, he may not have been able to say his line and progress the game. I know he didn't say it, so that's definitely WHERE things glitched out even if this isn't the reason.
It's strange that it would make the game a background process like this, as all it should do is switch to a different window.

Alt+Esc doesn't do that; it appears that starting the game in fullscreen does. If I Alt+Enter the game, it gets moved where it belongs.
