I'm bored of hearing the "I love to play my triangle my triangle goes" for the fourth time. Urgh.
Help us ;_;
Bigg-Catt, what fight are you stuck on?
Something that has helped some users to get around these stuck issues is hitting Alt + Esc when they come to this.
-Ubisoft Support
I've tried everything honestly, even the alt esc isn't working in this situation. I simply cannot proceed to the fight because it keeps on showing me a loading screen. I am able to change clothes and others with tab but can't proceed.
I was stuck on the same battle with the same problem, but what I did to resolve it was:
Skip the cutscene where they recognise me as the Farting Vigilante.
----- Geek stuff, muggles stop here -----
I tried several other solutions - close uPlay and Steam, restart both, start from uPlay, start from Steam, start from the EXE, press Alt+Esc, change the screen resolution, switch to windowed mode, nothing else worked. In the middle of something like the twentieth experiment (I swear to God if you don't shut the ♥♥♥♥ up about your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ triangle), I just happened to skip that cutscene and suddenly everything was fine.
My plan on that experiment was to start from Steam at my normal resolution and fullscreen setting, but when the battle window came up to press Alt+Enter to switch into windowed mode and then Alt+Esc to lower the window in the Z buffer. However, when the battle window came up after skipping the curscene, it didn't have the progress metre so I went ahead and fought the battle.
Basically, skipping the cutscene avoided the problem when I was literally doing everything the same way I did the first time I had the problem. Except that one cutscene, which I skipped.
Also this part of the game is hysterically funny. So is the rest, really. I love this game. Great job. Bugs like this happen, it's to be expected.
When this happened, did you have any controller connected to your PC? Because what i did to fix this is the same way i did to fix my black screen problem, i disconnected my controller and go window mode just in case before i start the fight.
