They have 3 options: scale the image (would look bad, worst option), add black bars (pretty harmless), or expand the field of view. The third option would require the additional viewable area be 100% worthless for those who can't see it to not be affected, so black bars are equivalent.

They aren't even black tho! lol :P

I shouldn't be surprised, the graphics options are pretty much non-existent. A true console port.
Ubisoft and PC......sigh

You're complaining that the game doesn't support your atypical resolution...when it does. If a movie is 4:3 and played on a 16:9 TV (or vice versa), it's not going to fit. You have the option to play in the aspect ratio that matches your monitor? Then you shouldn't be complaining. If you think it's common for games to change the FoV for different ratios, you're quite wrong.

The biggest problem with it, is The Stick of Truth supported 1920x1200 perfectly fine.. but now this sequel doesn't. :\

It does...I already explained. If there aren't black bars, they either stretch the image (no) or they draw extra of the world that's meaningless. The battle area isn't going to get bigger and they're not going to draw anything cool in an area of the screen that people in some resolutions can't see. It's effectively the same as having black bars. It's like you're complaining about widescreen movies and you want them to crop out part of the image so you don't have black bars. Maybe you just need a bigger monitor mate.

I just want it like Stick of Truth where I had no black bars and it worked fine.... stretched or FOV don't care, they should have fixed this imo.

I am playing on a 24", i think that is big enough for me. :)

Try setting it to your monitor's native setting. If I set the game to 4096x2160, I get grey bars on the side. If I set it to 3840x2160, it fills perefectly w/o the bars. 1st game to ever do that.

The game only supports 16:9 resolutions. 1920x1200 is a 16:10 resolution.

Gray bars at top and bottom of screen.
My game has these gray boxes at the top and bottom of my screen, as if it the resolution doesn't actually fit my screen even though it is set to my native resolution. I've tried searching around to see if someone has had a similar issue but no results. If anyone knows how to fix this or has experienced a similar problem, I'd appreciate the assistance. In the mean time, I will continue trying to fix it.

Thanks for providing that information, what's the lower limit that you have found where black bars are no present?

1440 by 900 is not a 16:9 aspect ratio. When you adjust a 16:9 image to fit onto a 1440 by 900 screen, the image you actually get is 1440 by 810. This is almost certainly by design and not a bug.

1366x768 and 1280x720. In these resolutions, the gray bars are not present
