Ubisoft won't let me play my game
I bought this game a few years ago and recently decided to play it again. I got an error about authenticating the game. When I contacted Ubisoft as instructed they said that the game is "binded" with a different account and they can't do anything. When I tried to show that I own the game on Steam and the reciept they basically told me to go ♥♥♥♥ myself because they don't affilaite with Steam. Great, glad I paid $60 because y'all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft.

Is it possible that you're using the wrong email? Sometimes I have to re-login when there's an update or at random. And because of that, I get my email address/accounts mixed up. I sometimes forget that the email I use for UPlay is now different than the one I bound to my Steam account. When I do login into the other account, it gives me the same error as you receive.

Login with the same account you used when you registered the game originally.

I'm having this same issue. I purchased the game through steam and Ubisoft associated it to the email attached to my paypal. So every time I download it through steam to play it, I have to remember that I have to find another site to download it from, then reset login credentials using the email associated with my paypal. The steam purchase essentially has no correlation to the game. In fact I cannot play this through steam, which is the platform I purchased it on.

A few of our games purchased on Steam will also need to be played via the Ubisoft Connect launcher.

I already said to your support that the account logged on steam is the same logged in the ubisoft account but ubisoft support is a piece of sheet and no one knows how to solve this fukcin problem (my problem is with another ubisoft game)
Hello I need help. I bought and link South Park the fractured but whole to the wrong ubi soft account. Probably a common mistake I know, but what can I do to link it to the correct ubi account? I can provide receipts for my purchase and ubi accounts.

Same issue.
Ubisoft support connected - if you can say so, cause they do not reply.
Provided my steam ID and receipt screen grabs, but they are not even replying "ok, thanks for that, I will check and come back" 2 days of waiting with no f****g reply from this f****g ubisoft.
Comon, how can I be polite and willing to buy your f****g games after that? I should have been smarter and find another way to play.

Oh yes, it already took almost 2 months. I doubt they're trying.
If I refund the game I bought on steam and buy it on ubisoft itll definitely work right?
