Broken menu screen

My game was working fine earlier and I tried to open again the menu just can't load. :/ what should i do? I've tried doing alt+enter, open from .exe, open from steam/uplay and reinstalling it... still does not work the menu screen won't start up

My menu sorta loads but everything is everywhere and I can't tell where anything is supposed to be, one time i made it to character creation but it's worse. I hope we can get to seeing what's causing our problems >.<

true D: but i noticed it sometimes works it sometimes doesnt

Im having the same issue but cannot find a fix anywhere. tried refunding but was refused?
someone really needs to help.

I'm having the same issue. First the game wouldn't load at all, but I switched to the family computer which could handle this sort of game. It wouldn't load after it says "Press Enter to Continue", then it magically did after the 5th attempt ?? But then the game crashed 2 hours in, so I can no longer get a refund, and now refuses to load the menu after I press enter, just going to black - leaving the music on mind you, loved the soundtrack to begin with but now it's a constant reminder of the stress of starting the game 10 times over and having to sit through the unskippable logos only for it not to work. Long time South Park fan, and I was over the moon when it worked for those precious couple of hours, but this is just getting stupid... A game should work when being released - and I've seen so many issues on these discussion boards. Originally this game was supposed to be released in December 2016, but now it's November 2017 and it still has bugs... South Park, you can do better than this...

PS - I've done the Windows 7 compatilibity mode, and run as admin. It's not the PC at this point.

Are you using a Laptop with an integrated GPU? This can happen if the game is not using the correct GPU.

If you are using a Nvidia card, you can make sure this is the case via the steps here:

• Open Nvidia control panel.
  
• Go to 'Manage 3D Settings'
  
• Go to the 'Program Settings' tab
  
• Under 'Select a program to customize' click 'Add'. Navigate to the install directory. This will probably be: Steam\steamapps\common\South Park The Fractured But Whole. Add SouthPark_TFBW.exe

I know how it feels, 34 hours into the game... cant play anymore this game is worse than batman arkham knight when it came out on pc its just basically crashes after sound bugs more crashes and in the end a black screen to end all the progress you made into the game, Great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Its bassically Getting over it, you make the mistake of closing the game and all the progress you made is gone cause you cant play i\t anymore
