May we please know what PC specs you're running on (GPU, CPU, RAM)?
And can you please ensure you've also attempted the troubleshooting steps listed in this guide[ubi.li], including verifying the game's files[ubi.li] as these should help address most crashing / performance issues.
If you're then still having issues, please open a case on our Support Site[ubi.li] and send over your system files.

At this moment, Ubisoft games are not officially supported on Steam Deck, which means we are unable to provide support with things like compatibility issues.
I'd recommend checking in with Steam Deck support to see if they might offer you some extra workarounds or steps you can try.
Additionally, please be sure to open a new thread in future if your issue is not the same (even if similar), than originally described in this one as it can cause confusion.

Thanks for commenting to let us know, and for sharing the workarounds you already tried, sorry to hear you're having some crashing issues while trying to get through the alley.
We've had similar reports of this happening to others, which should have been fixed in a previous update.
To help, we advise trying out the following:
- Try disconnecting from your internet during this part of the game, and reconnect after the alley section.
- Try toggling between a windowed/borderless mode, and disable any Ubisoft overlays
If it does continue for you thereafter, I'd like to ask for a short video clip of it happening for you in game, so that we can pass this onwards to get looked into. Feel free to upload this to a site such as YouTube or Vimeo, and then share the link with us here.

First 14 hours of play without problems, after unlocking Mr. Chaos began I couldn't take a quick station again or even leave the stage because it crashed
