Agreed! I didn't want to upset the Snow Day fans or distract from the message of my post by injecting my unfavorable opinion of it, but since you bring it up. It seems about on par with the terrible SP games on N64.
is The Fractured, But Whole worth it on steam deck ? like it has no issues and can i play anywhere?... thinking about buying it lol
I suggest that anybody making any purchase on steam, just look in their cart before paying for it. That's the best way for you to know what you are buying. If and when DLC is included, it will almost always be in the cart at the time of purchase. If you have been using Steam for any amount of time you should know this by now.
I have not played it on Steam Deck. That said, it does look like it's marked Steam Deck Verified on the store page, the highest compatibility rating. That means it passes all 4 basic checks for input (controls), display, performance, and seamlessness (including legibility of text on the Deck). Obviously, you can always request a refund within two hours of your first gameplay, or 2 weeks if you haven't played it. As with all games, I would definitely recommend you set a timer for yourself for 1 hour starting when you first launch the game, to decide if you like it or if you want to get your money back.
That said, if you haven't played it, I absolutely recommend it! It's insanely fun and hilarious IMO. If you loved The Stick of Truth, I think you'll love TFBW as well. I would say it's maybe 10% less funny, but the combat and gameplay is 25% better as compared to the first game. I would personally rate both as perfect games - 10/10.
If you do buy it and decide to keep it, don't forget to go back and pick up those two awesome story expansion DLCs (From Dusk Till Casa Bonita and Bring the Crunch) while they are still on sale (ends April 21). Or just get the Gold Edition, which includes all the DLCs.
