Any plans to remove uPlay

I was tempted to buy the Bundle of The Stick of Truth and The Fractured but Whole. However, The Stick of Truth does not require uPlay to play but the Fractured but Whole does. This sucks because if i decide to buy it i will have only 1 of those games i can play unless i want to install Ubisoft Connect, Make a Ubisoft Account and have it run in the background to play. This will be a bigger problem for the Steam Deck. The Fractured but Whole is not available on PS3 so i have no other option of playing it

its time to remove denuvo, game was released 10000 years ago, it already protected the most important sales period, the game reached its peak long long ago, why keep denuvo?

capcom removes denuvo after a year or so with AAA games like resident evil.

denuvo = no buy

The main reason i want both of it removed is because its unfair to people who buy it along with The Stick of Truth. and for Steam Deck users too

i was going to buy this yesterday, but not with the drm and ubisoft launcher requirements. i just ended up getting the stick of truth and will pass on this game until they remove the online only requirements (if that ever happens).

Just watch a play video on youtube, you can see the story without the hassle of playing the buggy game and coping with uplay connect bs.

Many players want the garbage taken out, but the company does not respond. If it was made more public, I am sure they would start listening.

I'd love to buy these games but denuvo and especially Uplay are an automatic no sale. I can't play Far Cry 3 which I own on Steam because of Ubisoft's garbage little client. Havent bought a game from them since Far Cry Blood Dragon and never will again as long as Uplay is attached.

I returned the bundle after discovering The Fractured But Whole requires Uplay. I'm not interested in supporting this annoying business decision.

At least 8 players in this thread right now want either Uplay or Denuvo removed. For the ones that have not made a purchase yet, that is already a lot of money Ubisoft is throwing away. Another thread could yield another 8-12 players and counting that DO NOT want Denuvo in games they play. Denuvo is not needed in games and neither is Ubisoft Connect/Uplay. Ubisoft needs to drop both of them permanently.

I installed Far Cry 3 on Ubisoft Connect the other day and I have enter my password every damn time I play it, even when I am already logged into the launcher. I refuse to purchase anything associated with that garbage.

These Two South Park titles are on sale with the Bundle as well. Uplay is still required for this one…

Ubisoft should know we don’t like Uplay, its still confusing that this one requires Uplay but the previous entry does not. Especially for Steam Deck users as the Stick of Truth is verified.

Also whats a shame is this one cannot be Steam Family Shared because of Uplay, Someone in my Steam Family has this game.

Steam Deck is just a portable PC, so they need to remove it, PERIOD! Ubisoft Connect and Denuvo have been with the game for years and does nothing as a consumer need or benefit of being there, so it needs to be gone!
