Does this have DRM?

Does this game have any DRM? I'm thinking about buying it for winter break if its clean.

It says right on the store page. All steam games have a level of DRM. This has several more.

Some games will work without Steam running (ex: Half-Life 2) but those are few and far between for AA(A) games.

You’re right. I discovered that some games that have a DRM-free version on GoG are also DRM-free on Steam.

Yes, three levels of DRM. Steam, Ubisoft Connect and Denuvo. You can avoid (legally) Steam DRM if you buy the game on Ubisoft Store.

You should it buy on Ubisoft. If you buy it on Steam, you need to start Steam and Ubisoft Connect. If you buy on Ubisoft, you only need to start Ubisoft Connect

So should you has problems with Steam connection, you cant play the game anymore

I was about to buy the bundle and saw that Denuvo is still used. Gross.

i waiting for the day they remuvo denuvo, so i can finally play this game i foolishly purchased before i knew about it.

honestly, i dunno why i bought it in the first place, considering it requires Uplay account as well

edit : for clarity, i bought it in 2019 and played for 4 hours. i don't remember ever creating a uplay account, it must not have needed it back then, so i dunno why they make us have it now 4 years later.
and it baffles me why they would still keep paying kickbacks to denuvo 4 years later, just to keep the infection going.

Every time I load the game it tries to update uplay and I click no 3 times every time, it will eventually give up and just launch the game without singing into any uplay account. For me anyway. Of course I am launching it with steam.
