It's just people like us that keeps coming back...
That's almost exactly what I said when I got here for the first time, yet I don't agree with it anymore. Now I acknowledge that Uplay does have huge amount of flaws, but I completely disagree that it makes Uplay the worst gaming app, ever! But here's the catch, both Steam and Origin have their own issues, some less severe, some more. Just read this for example - http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ANTI-EA/discussions/0/144513248277796741/ IMO, that one thing is way freakin' worse than all Uplay flaws combined together. And I'm not even talking about the FPS counter and this one too - http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/How-do-I-set-maximum-download-speed-in-origin/td-p/1444230 Yet, people tend to turn a blind eye to Origin flaws when it comes to playing Battlefield.
no actual reason for the wipe just happened all of an sudden all games went missing without warning.
they didnt bother contacting support and just walked away, as if chance happen once, chance happen again x.x
But the guy from my link was talking about his personal files getting deleted from his own HDD, very different issues! Yet, it's still an unacceptable behaviour for any software (deleting bunch of stuff that's not related to your program)!
but i will say freaking scary, makes me wonder how origin was given those rights since most programs only have rights on an computer to do so much.
which makes one wonder how that 3 computer limit works, and even then sounds like something to majorly avoid.
i once had an program which was an 1 computer lisence.
once i got an new computer as old one went down the key was unuseable.
which meant your forced into contacting there support to get it removed from that one computer.
They should mail out a booklet that you have to use for DRM with it to or one of those code wheels.
