change up your team, get guys with knockback, and if you have a class with knockback use that, knock dudes into the monsters line of fire = profit

That was the first truly difficult fight. Helps to have characters that can cross large spaces and do knockbacks. Fastpass and Cartman are good. So is Mysterion. Focus on getting acolytes moved into red zone so Shub eats them. His HP are all that matter.

Don't be afraid to end your turns without taking any action. In fact, you should only attack the cultists to knock them into the danger area. Otherwise just stay away from the pit and let Shub Niggurath do her thing.

The plantmancer got a very good attack for shoving the enemy. I forgot its name atm but it shoved 5x3 rows backwards for 1 field.
That one was a big helper too

Oh man, yeah... I had a lot of problems with that fight for the longest time, probably the hardest fight I had to encounter. I succeeded after using the plantmancer ability that pushes people back a square and pretty much used that ability as much as I could while getting my teammates to safety. Definitely clutch. It is good to have a support for this fight too and good teammates. I placed Mysterion and Call Girl into my party, maybe it helps to use Token too since he can switch places with enemies as well. I didn't attack as much unless I really needed to.

I'm currently doing a playthrough on Mastermind difficulty, and this worked, so it should help you.
Pick Token, Diabetes and Craig. If you have Blaster class, pick the fire wall ability as well. In short, get as many "pushing" attacks as possible.
In the phase with timer at the bottom, move away from the red squares as soon as possible. Feel free to skip turns. If you got all team members away from red squares, don't do anything. Don't attack, don't skip turns, just wait until meter at the bottom reaches full.
On the phase with red squares being very close to the boss, use your pushing abilities to push white enemies into the squares. If you have fire wall abilities, it's good enough to push both enemies due to the way they always spawn. If you don't have fire wall or cannot reach them, use other people's pushing attacks.
Feed 4 white people and you win.

This is the hardest boss in the entire game if you ask me, though I didn't have much problem.

Not really between my ability to swap places with an enemy and tokens we can get the cops in range of his attack no problem.

just use toolshed and super craig for knockbacks and always be on the left side of the screen :P

It was rough but once I figured out that all I needed to do was make sure the priests were eaten by it on its turn, it went better. Tupperware is great for his switch places skill. Plantmancer has probably the best knockback/bleed skill in the game called Root Burst. Just focus all of your efforts on keeping them in the red, and less on actually doing damage. The point is to feed them to Shub Niggurath so it takes damage. Otherwise the fight will go on forever.
thankf for the tips guys! I have finished the game. Now i will start playing Elex :)
