Yeah. Sot proggression feels and was better. Customization was better. Jokes were better. Fights were better. Amount of characters you met was much better! But i liked fight grid system in the new game.
If someone made a TES game every two years you youl would complain about the lack of new stuff just as you complain about this one.
Fresh dialogue, combat system, world interaction... that´s stuff that takes YEARS to develop.
And FFS don´t tel me Stick of Truth had good replay value because else = troll. SOT only had ONE ending. FFS.
Offensive jokes: check
Tv show references: check
Strategic gameplay: check
Role play: check
A plot that was just straight up insanity: check
I feel this game has almost everything stick of truth had.
It could have used more collectibles but that's my only complaint.
it didnt have one very important thing. south park characters which were in sot. just a fraction of them!
Yep. And altered combat is altered. Not better. Not worse. Just different.
A lot of what's changed since SoT... like filling out your character sheet... is just not fun. I mean, I get the social implication. We do tend to define things about ourselves for no real reason except to tick a box in our head, just like filling in a blank on our character sheet. And whatever you choose for anything - skin colour, gender, religion, etc. - it doesn't actually matter. But I get it, already. I don't need to sit through the lesson every damn time I play through the game.
Lots of stuff in the game is like that. Limits replayability for little if any reason. I still love the game, but it seems like I was having more fun in SoT after more than a week.
