If not, probably don't spend $60 on this game either.
If you do, then buy it. Worst that happens is you're not enjoying it, in which case you can refund if you've played under 2 hours.
The game has improved upon SoT and is even more fun, and disturbingly disgusting. I had a lot of fun with it. What with going to sleep at 7 AM near constantly.
Just one more thing. The game has some strong bugs. Had been stuck in several end game fights without being able to do anything but enter menu.
The reviews are garbage right now. Launch week backlash - "this game offends me, so nobody else should buy it." They're offended by the DRM, the DLC, the Twitch partnership, the uPlay rewards, the achievements, the combat, the difficulty, the length, the ending, etc.
The ending does kinda suck. SoT had a much better ending. But the game up to that point is a lot better, and if you liked SoT you'll like this.
^ Seconding this.
The EU price at 60 EUR (that's over 70 USD, folks) is just not worth it.
Better to grab this in a sale somewhere during 2018, in a bundle with all its released DLC, well after Ubisoft has released patches to fix the game's current broken state.
It is worth nothing that this game is quite a bit longer than SoT, though, i'd say it's about 25 hours to do all the quests, get 100% achievements, for 1 playthrough of course.
If you enjoy the game itself so much that you'd wanna do more than 1 playthrough, then it most definitely is. I'm on my second playthrough myself right now as i do enjoy it that much, despite having 100% of the achievements already.
A lot of the reviews are either just badly done and not helpful, or incredibly subjective.
To repeat myself for the hundreth time, my below minimum specs comp handles this game at a flawless 60 FPS at all times, i have only encounterd a single bug in an entire playthrough including 100% achievements, which happened to also be just near the end of the game (21-22 hours in).
On the other hand, some claim to have severe technical issues, both FPS wise and supposedly way too many bugs, on good or even beastly machines. Basically, just buy the game yourself and see how bad it is for you within 2 hours, if it isn't, then keep playing.
