APPCRASH SouthPark_TFBW.exe during startup

Hi,

Whenever I try the start the game it crashes with an 'APPCRASH' produced by the 'SouthPark_TFBW.exe'.
I've tried all the trivial solutions (reinstall, integrity check, directX update, redist update, start as an admin, uplay reinstall...) but none of them solved it.
Has any of you faced with the same issue? Did somebody find a solution for it?
p.s.: it is not the black screen issue, it crashes even before i could get the black screen. )

I have the same issue and I use Win 8.1. Were you able to find a fix for this issue?

Hey, thanks for the tip, it worked and it does not crash anymore.
However, it is freakisly slow now and totally unplayable, but thats another topic.

hi, no i couldn't.
it's totally unrelevant, but a few weeks later my computer stopped for good, i bought a new pc later and therefore i could try the game
