Should I play the previous one first?

Just got the gold edition for ps4. I know it is bundled together with stick of truth. I am curious though if I should play that then this game or save the first game for later?

In my experience, going back to a previous game in a series is frustrating because the older game is, well... more primitive. Even if the systems are so different you never expect new features in the old game, there are all kinds of conventions and patterns that change between entries and make the old ones feel a lot worse.

So I'd recommend playing the first one before the second one. But you may not have the same experience. Also, the second one matches South Park as it is in the series NOW, while the first matches the South Park of a few years ago. If you're up to date on the series, the first one may feel more confusing.

Ok, thanks. I guess I will just go through with this then after a playthrough I will power through the first one. I have been skipping the first one despite so many times it has been offered for so cheap just about everywhere.

Today I just got finished replaying stick of truth.

Got started on this and it was worth it.

King douchebag is now op as ♥♥♥♥ in the stick of truth game but now I sense cartman changed the game solely because douchebag was better at it then him and stole his title of king.

At first it appeared cartman was attempting to exclude douchebag from playing super heroes but in the end gave in because this was a game based on the rankings of his own instagram page that he controlled.

I can't wait to see douchebags popularity tear apart cartmans system and take over this game too.

I would. It's a good game, explains The New Kid's back story and leads directly into Fractured.

I would play it, and once you finish it hopefully there will be a patch for this game.
The last one isn't bad at all. Highly recommend it, this game even starts off where the last one left off but honestly, it isn't really required at all.

Ok, I fired Stick of truth up and wow! I am in love! Like it is so fun so far and I guess I will try to go through it first. Like I know why a huge South Park fan would love it. RPG-wise, I kinda like the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga kinda turn-based+timing battle mechanic.
