Thanks for reaching out to us with this Pancakes11!
There aren't any known plans to remove Denuvo's requirement from South Park: The Fractured But Whole at this time, but we're more than happy to pass your comments onto the team for consideration.
If there's anything more you'd like to share or we can answer, please let us know!

Yes I personally had a run in with the same outage with it also hitting the new Guardians of the Galaxy, thankfully it wasn't down too long but I understand the frustrations of having a limited library due to the outage.
Should any changes or plans be announced regarding Denuvo and it's inclusion in any titles, we'll let players known publicly and on the forums!
Thank you!

What does the size of someone's game library have to do with anyyhing? For all you know it was their only game and they had plans to play it then. "Frustrations of having a limited library" is frankly an offensive non-apology that tries to blame the customer.
They were denied the product that they paid good money for. However brief there's no defending it. So stop making excuses and definitely stop trying to shift the blame for Ubisoft’s consumer-hostile business practices onto paying customers!
Unbelievable!
Please pass on our feedback, but let me just ask...
When, Ubisoft?! When will you finally plan to remove Denuvo from the games?! How long is the company going to keep consumers waiting? It has already been years passed their release dates.
I have not purchased this specific South Park game at all yet because of Denuvo being there. I would've bought it by now, but Denuvo kept me away. It's more of a problem because The Stick of Truth did not have Denuvo in it. This difference ruins it for some consumers that want one or both games, but refuse to buy the sequel due to Denuvo tagging along. I wanted to get the game on the PC platform for years now because I do not buy a lot of games on gaming consoles these days. Even then, it does not excuse certain business practices towards PC-specific consumers.
However, I stopped buying Ubisoft-related titles after 2019. It's all because Denuvo is in too many games and Ubisoft has NOT removed Denuvo from any of the games I have purchased from them, such as Far Cry Primal and Assassin's Creed Origins. Capcom, WB, and Bethesda have removed Denuvo a number of times from their games. That's not to give them a pat on the back for using it in the first place, but to acknowledge them for removing it from games. Denuvo hardly slows down piracy and it does NOT stop piracy! There are a number of titles I would have bought by now, if Denuvo was not there, but thanks goes to companies for saving me money.
Denuvo has already given me a negative experience previously and that is why I no longer purchase Denuvo titles. I don't know who specifically is in charge, but leaders need to get informed that they're increasing piracy and discouraging consumer purchases by keeping Denuvo attached to their games. It's a wasteful investment and ruins gaming for a large number of PC consumers. When piracy still occurs on gaming consoles, why is there no Denuvo anti-tamper (not referring to anti-cheat) implementation for games on consoles in addition to the DRM they already receive?
Also, companies have lied to consumers a number of times about Denuvo either not impacting them or being of minimal impact, which is clearly garbage with user reviews and this thread as evidence. Want more evidence? See Overlord Gaming YouTube videos. One main issue is with the token authentication killing the fun in just being able to simply access and play a game after purchase with no forced internet connection to renew a token for offline play or play sessions for any time chosen by the player, and no additional issues to worry about. Denuvo's implementation into PC games is a poor practice towards the audience or the people that actually play the games because it causes problems that take away from enjoying a product that has already been PAID for!
What I say is not due to any hate. All I want is to enjoy gaming again without these issues in the way! Some consumers would gladly pay full price on a game with no Denuvo in it! However, if I can't even play a simple single player game whenever I want and without Denuvo's servers being involved, that is a major impact/annoyance that is stealing my enjoyment from a product I spent money on. My aim was not to pay for Denuvo, but for the game itself!
I think this is called shooting yourself in the foot, why would they remove Denuvo when by your own words you're now a proud pirate.
Can you please forward to management that there's quite a few people who refuse to buy Ubisoft titles at all these days because of this kinda thing? Especially when Denuvo doesn't really do all that much to stop piracy in the long term, just delays it. (And considering Epic's actions...We're pretty used to having to wait.)
I'm sure i'm not the only person who refuses to buy this game due to aforementioned reason.
