Selfies in the new DLC

Has anyone figured out how to take selfies with the Ghosts in the new DLC? I use investigate mode to make the smoke appear but the selfies mode icon never appears.

What am I doing wrong?

when the smoke comes, go to salfie mode and just make one, there is no selfie symbol in the spirits

It's been so long since I played the game. I had completely forgotten there was a normal selfie mode.

yer but unless u complete the quest associated with them it isn't a real selfie, stuck on the doll selfie

For the doll selfie, you have to go to the Mess Hall and catch the doll that's inside. Then take a selfie with the ghost associated with it, yes.

the ghosts don't have to be visable for you to selfie with them. As long as you're standing in the right spot they will show up on your camera.

Pause time and move the flammable barrel in the gap between the food serving area and the 2 smaller boxes then climb up

The exact same key that you would use to take a selfie when you're prompted to take one.
