Why so expensive

Why is steam & ubisoft trying to charge us all a really expensive fee when you can now get the standard edition of this game retail in the shop for now £25

Danger Deck £4.99
Towelie £1.69
Relics of Zaron £3.99

and if you add the DLC on top of that it brings it to £35.67

and they want to charge us £49.99 for the stadard game with no DLC
or £74.99 for gold edition which is normal game with all the DLC anyway

the prices need to be re-examined

How is that expensive when it's the price of a typical triple-A title? The game is less than four months old at this point.

I don't understand this incessant whining about prices when in real terms game prices have plummeted since the mid '90s even though their production costs have skyrocketed.

You do realize that the gold edition includes a season pass.. which includes unrealeased DLC at this point.

only thing is from dusk till casa bonita or whatever its called unless that is a really long DLC price still not really justified no other dlc has been anounced yet nothing new mentioned that we didn't know about since the games first release

as the DLC price is less then that of the season pass anyway if you was to purchase them seperatley

the price different between the dlc so far if purchased seperatly & the from dusk till casa bonita DLC that would need to be £15.42 to equall out to be the price of the season pass you cant tell me it will honestly be that much ?

Game itself, in canada, is 79.99, which is normal nowadays for a AAA title. Season pass is 29.99CDN, which again is normal. Given that danger deck is advertised as 5.99USD but costs 7.99CDN, I am going to assume the two 11.99 ones will be at least 13.99CDN.. so that comes to... 35.97 CDN at least.. so the price is resonable. At least in Canada.

As for retail shops selling it cheaper... they likely are just trying to clear out stock of a game that didn't sell as well as they hoped.
