but it has steamachievments or?
Edit: Holy crap, you have to eventually also install google authenticator just to get uplay to work just to play the damn game. This is why some folks pirate games; just to avoid this kind of hassle to play the game you've legally bought.
To be honest Uplay is better than Steam. Steam was just first and have games from the most of publishers.
Support and rewards are better on Uplay.
And Google Authenticator is optional. Only if you want better protection for your account.
1. To have my games depend on a company like Ubisoft
2. To endorse the whole "Each publisher with his own little platform" bs. If Uplay was designed as a competition to steam, like GoG, that would be great. But not only do they limit their game offering but go out of their way to incovenience their customers even when the game is bought on steam; and with stuff like Denuvo.
Thanks, but no thanks. I bought the first South Park game and would've bought this one. But Ubi wouldnt be Ubi if they didnt prioritize perceived earnings over everything else. Well, hope it pays off for them.
steam does not refund you in this case. If you have activated it. :( I had the same problem with watch dogs 2 ;( I hope they changed it but I guess not. Good luck
