FPS issues

Hi,
I am not sure if I am expecting too much....but running this on 4K (high) gets me an FPS of 12.

I use an Alienware 17 R3.
i7 6820 HK
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980M
16.0 GB

I have played what are considered more demanding games at a much, much higher FPS so I am not sure if this game is just actually quite demanding (I wouldnt have thought so) or maybe my system is not up to par?

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Now, to the topic at hand, you're using an Intel processor that has 8 (logical) cores that runs @ 2.7 GHz min and 3.6 max and a GPU GDRR5 of 4GB.

That's weird... I'm using a PC but my processor is a quad-core AMD APU A8 with 3.5Ghz each, and a Radeon HD 7700 (2 GB). Yet, I'm running at highest quality and have 90-140 FPS.

I have 16 GB RAM DDR3 also

I discovered the laptop was running the game using the Intel graphics card rather than the 980M. Now it runs like a wet dream.
