Can't use fartkour at Mephisto's Lab

I'm nearing the end, going through the Mephisto's Lab stuff, and there's the part where I need to summon Stan to use fartkour to get over a big gap. I've used fartkour many times throughout the game, but for some reason, no matter when I press Y in this one specific instance, it fails. Am I doing something wrong here? Is it bugged? Anyone else have this problem?

The game allows you to begin fartkour as long as at least the first part of it can be done and will auto fail if the conditions to complete it have not been met. See if there is anything else you can interact with that will allow you to complete the fartkour.

no its not bugged, see if you can use timefarts or get in inspection mode to see if anything can be interacted. I wish you good luck on that
