Multiplayer?
I don't see any verification of multiplayer content. Did the sales of the first game suck? I thought it was a fun game but maybe game sales sucked for the first game. Seems a half-hearted attempt at a second game if they don't have multiplayer content. The fun and uniqueness of South Park multiplayer content seems an obvious choice especially with the ridiculous overpricing. Seems lame if you don't get multiplayer content or something swell for the price. The jerk-off towel is a nice addition though.

It's just a single player game, no MP and I don't think anyone really expected it. I woudln't say it's a half assed sequel just because it has no MP features... that's silly, MP doesn't automatically add value or quality.

I do agree with you that a South Park MP game could be pretty great though (could also be really terrible, it all depends on the development process)... but this isn't it, and no one has ever suggested it would be.

Honestly I find your entire question a little odd... you think a game had bad sales, or the sequel is a half-assed attempt just because they didn't add MP for whatever reason...? That's a strange line of reasoning if you ask me.

Dragon age: inquisition has much common with multiplayer mechanics though it is not multi. And for that, I hate it. Multiplayer doesn't add + points, sometimes it makes things worse.

I know right. Your mom's dildo found in Mister Slave in the first game is an excellent weapon!

I'm not wanting to judge it as half butt whole or whatever ... at least not until it's released and metacritic tells how I should judge it.

Mostly just because the 2nd game costs twice the price as the first game I wonder if there would be something more than what we got with the first SP game.

I haven't played many Ubisoft games so I don't actually know if they already have MP experience or were looking to develop it. Just seemed like one way they could legitimize the huge price increase. MP South Park could be hilarious to play with friends at church and stuff. I laughed and was at times horrified playing the first game SP which made me think why couldn't my mates be with me sharing all those special moments.

I honestly don't know if the first game was a financial success but they are definitely getting twice the loot for the second game. I'd like to see something extra for the extra loot and MP was the first thing that came to mind. Too early to judge if the 2nd game is worth the extra price. Hopefully it is and maybe there will be a 3rd game with a good MP or maybe VR South Park.

True. MP in a game might take away resources needed to make the SP game good.

However, they are asking twice the money for the 2nd South Park game so maybe they could pull off another good South Park SP game and still add something extra like MP if they use the extra money for more developers.

I thought the SP in Dragon Age: Inquisition wasn't good but I at least liked the MP. Probably never good to add things like MP until you know your SP game is up to par.

I could definitely get behind a Fractured But Whole Co-op mode!

This would be awesome. Not sure why they didnt implement at least the ability to have friends drop into your game with their toons. Hopefully they put this in later.

Well not a online multiplayer but just the option of using the character of a friend in combat.. It would be pretty sweet.

That wasn't the reason it was terrible though. In fact, the multiplayer part of this game is its best part. What brings the game down is the fact that you can complete everything it has to offer in under 4 hours.
