"Local" Co-Op means Local Network I think...

Hi. I think that in this day and age when a game says "local" co-op to me that means "local network" if you are console co-op only or 2 controllers on a pc co-op only maybe the game requirements ought to say so please? I just bought this for my wife, surprised her, then discovered we're not set-up to play. While trying to figure out how to get our games to find each other I realized "oh, they want 2 controllers in one device - ohhhh" I would have preferred you said that then I wouldn't have had to feel disappointed with your game. Wonder how STEAM does returns, since we cannot play this together until online comes out later...didn't see anything that cued me into that in the game's listing. Thanks.

Local coop has always meant several people on one device. You said you knew online would come later so what's the problem.

The problem is that I just spent money on a game that I cannot actually play because the requirements don't actually list the equipment required and that isn't a positive out of the box experience. I checked the requirements, looked for a way to privately message the developer to offer the feedback and didn't find one so posted here. And I don't agree, that's not what "local co-op" means in PC gaming, and when a developer releases a title to both pc and console, it would be nice if they followed the conventions on requirements so that I know what I need to play the game...

Thank you for your message. Good news is that the online coop is coming this month so you will be able to play as you wanted.
And yea - with local coop we always had in mind playing on one device without split screen
Hopefully you will give it a shot once online mode will go live

The problem is, you can't play the game without one guy having a serious handicap. Unless you like gamepad more than kb plus mouse.
