It's most probably because of special character in your name (Russian or Japanese character, or non-ASCII character https://terpconnect.umd.edu/~zben/Web/CharSet/htmlchars.html )
We will resolve this quickly, but looks like you need to change your name :'(

Not sure if you need something else from me. I live in Mexico and hence I have a latin american keyboard, but as I told you, I'm using David as my name in the game, so not sure if there's a problem with ASCII values.

PS. Just as confirmation, I downloaded the update, as the version of the game in the error screen is:
