And for second question, unfortunately yes, :). You have to maximize the affection points for all heroines (in 1 game) to get a "Harem" ending. This is the real challenge in this game I guess. It really is hard yet possible to get. 0.9% players have achieved this so far.
Umm.. Actually I did get the harem achievement when doing a beta testing, without exploiting the bug, :)
And yes, the calculations also show that it is still possible to maximize all heroine's affections in 25/26 days. It is designed on purpose to make this ending hard yet possible to achieve. Good luck!
Focus on minor quests as well... Do not bother with quests that are expensive such as canned unicorn meat, plutonium, etc, Unless you're filthy rich of course. I'd say if the item cost more than 60000, It's not worth it money versus affection wise. Unless you're lucky with lucky pendant, it could be worth it on Love ==> Infatuated.
