That said, there's always room for improvement.
Some suggestions of things i think could make it even better:
Builder UI:
1- Ability to move the window borders between the 3 views.
2- Ability to change the view in those 2 right windows (ex: side view).
3- Ability to change the node/frame's visual size manually (slider or something).
4- Ability to save while in builder (save button beside the car name maybe ?!).
Parts:
5- Make every node have the 'point settings' options when selected.
6- Allow any engine model (inline4/6, V6/8/12, etc..) for any level.
7- Ability to lock joints on all axis without 'reference' frames (unlike 'fix angles').
8- Make intensity and size of lights separate.
9- Consider making angle locks part of the node/points settings with option of axis to lock.
Bug:
10- Lights keep the same orientation when rotating on sub assembly.
These are all amazing suggestions, many of which I had forgotten to mention myself. Anyway, would there be a way where when you click on a frame, there is an option to add a point (not a slider or mid-point) and drag it to your desired place, then when you click the dot after deselecting it, it will cut the frame into two frames, but leave them attached? So when building, and you need to get rid of some length on a frame, but you can't just shorten it because it would mess up all of your mid-point positions, you could use this option to just cut that part of the frame off, then delete the extra.
should be limited to normal sandbox spawns, because it will make easy to cheat at racing starts
maybe the best way to fulfill your desire is a Vehicle mover tooltip thats available in free roam
and a bucket Seat for really low cars
maybe Procedural Seats where you choose the position of the driver ?
also in first person reduce the clip distance of the camera so we can see the car interiors better
