Will there be a star wars mod for this game when it comes out?

Per the FAQ, modding support is a planned feature of the full game but not the upcoming demo, the extent of the modding support is too soon to say.

nice job being incredibly toxic lol, he was probably asking because this game was originally a star wars game, meant to be Battlefront 3 as close as it could be to the original. So he was asking the devs because they would likely know about any mods or any star wars mods dealing with it. Next time don't be such a toxic waste of oxygen.
