please clarify. If it's a question of regional pricing, we match prices. We'd much rather you play the game in an optimal way, than to play in a suboptimal way just to save money. Reach out to support@forfunlabs.com if that's the case and we'll work it out
To clarify, I am asking if there is a way to improve FPS without buying a cable (which I could not use regardless). Because playing above 60fps is very realistic and very fun, I could lose hours. However below 60fps it becomes very choppy and frankly not fun, returning shots consistently and accurately becomes near impossible. My current headset is a Quest 2 128 (GB) (none of which is used). It might be due to my internet but I am not qualified in that area to judge, information about it:
DOWNLOAD - 34.49 (Mbps)
UPLOAD - 10.65 (Mbps)
LATENCY - 14 (ms)
My intuition tells me its most likely on my end but any advice would be appreciated. Cheers!
When you run the game on the pc, due to he ways the pc connects to the quest, the visual data needs to be encoded at the pc side, and then decoded on the quest side. This adds about 30ms overhead. This overhead significantly hurts tracking. Aside from this, a lot of other problems often arise.
What I am saying is that you should get the game from the oculus quest store for your quest, and you shouldn't try to play it from the pc. ...your pc should not be used in anyway to play the game if you are wearing a quest/quest2 on your head.
I buy all my VR games off of steam because I think it's going to improve the graphics of the game, because PC has always been best at handling graphically intense games. When I had seen the tiny Quest 2 I thought it would not be powerful enough to run VR games.
In terms of getting Eleven on my Quest 2... you could always throw me a key, if not I will continue playing it on SteamVR until I get angry again. Thanks for the advice.
I'm confused, is your role in the Steam forums to convince people not to buy the game on Steam?
I have been muted for 17 days for "toxic language", which I think means ♥♥♥♥ talking. Therefore, if indeed it means ♥♥♥♥ talking then I would like to state why this is crappy:
First and foremost, ♥♥♥♥ talking is simply fun. It's a way to interact with other players in a light-hearted, banter-filled way. When done right, it can add an element of excitement and anticipation to the game.
Secondly, ♥♥♥♥ talking can be used strategically. By getting inside your opponent's head, you can gain a mental edge over them and ultimately improve your chances of winning.
And finally, ♥♥♥♥ talking can simply make the gaming experience more enjoyable for everyone involved. It can add an element of trash talk and competitiveness that can make the game more enjoyable and fun to play.
as far as all of your reasoning as to why you think what you are doing is ok and even good - you have been reported by users. That means what you are doing is bothering people. I don't care what your opinion on life is, I and the moderation team isn't here to police your behavior from some universal standpoint. Curse all you want - when you know for sure that it's something your opponent is ok with. If you are not able to know when and if it would bother your opponent, then we mute you - as you can't be trusted with the privilege to talk with your your opponents.
If you still have concerns, please reach out to any store support and ask if you have some right to toxic language in an online experience. They'll tell you the same thing I tell you: your rights ends at the precise moment you start bothering other people.
I honestly don't remember anyone coming to me to say that they were bothered by what I was doing. I believe that they missed the vital step of addressing their concerns with me directly. Instead, they went straight to reporting. I cannot be expected to know whether I'm bothering someone without them telling me so.

if that's you: you have 26 unique users report your for toxic language.
Clearly you can't be trusted with your mic. We'll be keeping an eye on you after the mic ban expires. If you continue, you'll get your mic banned permanently.
"I cannot be expected to know whether I'm bothering someone without them telling me so."
you can. In fact, 99% of users don't have a single report against them.
In the case where you were completely oblivious, now you know. That sort of language is not acceptable here.
I know it was wrong and I'll try to do better. I'm sorry for any pain or discomfort I may have caused. I'll try to be more mindful in the future. You have made me aware of how my words can impact others and I'll try to be more mindful of that in the future. Thank you for giving me a chance to apologize and grow. Also where can I see the reports on that website?
