but if you want to have a swing at it there are 2 options
1. you are running some firmware on your router that is changing your ports randomly per connection. I have seen PF Firewall do this. Make it stop (there are tutorials online)
2. you can forward a port. In the preference.json, there should be an entry called "forwardedPort", and it should be set to 0 by default. Pick a number that you like. For example. 5000.
Then go into your router, and set it to forward from port 5000, to your computer's port 7759
If you did it successfully, you will be able to press multiplayer. Furthermore, when you do, on the left info panel when you press Multiplayer, you should see connection, or online (i forget...), but it should say "Perfect!". It'd be perfect because when a person forwards their port, that means they can p2p with anyone with no issues ever.
Also, in the main menu, there is a ? button, and if you click it, there is a discord link, and you can find me there all the time (carrotstien)

Just a small pointer, the option to play offline is in the multiplayer meny which i couldnt access before. So i still got alot of notifications from challenges which i couldnt turn off, maybe the option can be added somewhere in settings aswell.
